Connecting Wheatbelt Clinicians Road Trip
The inaugural ‘Connecting Wheatbelt Clinicians Road Trip’ took place on Tuesday 7 November. We would like to extend a huge thanks to all involved and to the many practices we visited for their time and support.
Dr Vinod Pushpalingam, RGPWA Director of Rural Generalist Training, said, “It was a productive and useful exercise. Catching up with many familiar faces and learning first hand of the challenges currently faced in General Practice in the Wheatbelt was a positive step forward."
The RGPWA Coordination Unit would like to thank Dr Anna Varone (Northam Director of Clinical Training and Emergency Clinical Lead) and Jo Potts (RGPWA Wheatbelt MEO, WACHS Narrogin MEO and WA Regional Training Hubs Wheatbelt Project Officer) for coordinating this event and WA Regional Training Hubs for sponsoring the trip. We look forward to future road trips where we can connect with our colleagues in the Wheatbelt!
