Mentoring

Each participant of the Rural Generalist Pathway WA is assigned a Rural Generalist Director of Clinical Training (DCT) in their region as a mentor when they commence on the pathway. Our mentors are passionate about sharing their rural medicine experiences and guiding their mentees on a unique and tailored career pathway. To find out more about our DCTs, visit the Coordination Unit section.

All Rural Generalists are valued members of our community. We welcome their involvement as mentors for aspiring Rural Generalists and as contributors to the ongoing delivery of the pathway through student presentations, blog content submissions, participation in research projects and continuous improvement ideas. To find out more or to express your interest in becoming a mentor, please contact us.
