Dr Elliot Nunn, Great Southern Region
My name is Elliot and this year I joined the WACHS Medical Education team as a Medical Education Registrar in Albany. I am also a current trainee on the Rural Generalist Pathway WA! In my current role, it is a true privilege to serve my fellow doctors-in-training through teaching, pastoral care and advocacy.
I am a city kid: I was born, bred, schooled, graduated and internshipped in Perth. Country practice first crossed my mind in third-year medical school. Some excellent mentors in Bridgetown gave me a new perspective of what a doctor can be, for which I am forever grateful.
Since 2021 I have been happily living in Albany with my partner Emma and our dog, cat and chickens. We have found Albany to be a warm supportive atmosphere in which to develop as doctors and as people.
The Great Southern region has provided opportunities to lengthen my eclectic list of hobbies as well as develop a close community of kind and supportive friends.
