Dr Anoop Pem, RGPWA Goldfields Director of Clinical Training

Dr Anoop Pem | Director of Clinical Training

Dr Anoop Pem is an RG-Anaesthetist working as an Aeromedical Retrieval Doctor with the Royal Flying Doctor Service. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 and pursued rural generalist training in country Victoria, gaining experience in emergency medicine, anaesthetics and alpine and ski-field medicine. He has an interest in education and training, previously as a supervisor for GP registrars and a lecturer for the University of Melbourne's Rural Clinical School. He is a keen advocate for Rural Generalist Medicine, with an understanding of the training and support required for trainees.

Amanda Ryan | Medical Education Officer 

Amanda, a long-time resident of Kalgoorlie, has spent the majority of her life in this vibrant city. She has the joy of raising three children in the heart of the Goldfields. Since 2018, she has been a dedicated professional at the Kalgoorlie Health Campus, where she has embraced a multitude of roles. In her current position as a Medical Education Officer, Amanda finds great satisfaction in working closely with junior doctors. She provides them with unwavering support as they navigate their training journey on the Rural Generalist Program. Amanda is a firm believer in lifelong learning. To further her own education and enhance her professional skills, she is currently pursuing a Diploma in Business. Her commitment to personal growth and dedication to her work are testaments to her passion for healthcare and education.
